I recently rediscovered a small plastic pouch where I had tucked away every movie stub from my childhood, beginning in 2001. I have always been an avid collector of interesting looking objects.
Over the years, my stash of food-shaped mini erasers and movie stubs evolved into magazine clippings, stamps, packaging labels, typography specimens, retro matchbooks and brewery coasters.
I think the best art directors are visual hoarders.
In a lifetime of making things, I am excited to work on projects that are interesting to look at, intentional in their message, funny like an inside joke, and daring to be unique against the safety of sameness.
